Automation tester

Location: Geelong CBD
Required Experience: 2 – 4 Years (Full-Time/Part-Time)
Salary Range: $55,000 to $75,000 PA plus super.

About The Role:
Automation Tester to uplift their automated regression tests for a particular business area. The role will be focused on writing UFT test automation scripts for an internal application with an existing functional UFT framework and scripts. It will focus on converting existing manual test cases to the automation suite.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • 2-4 years of automation testing experience
  • Recent experience in Micro Focus UFT tool / QTP (VB Scripting) for developing test automation frameworks
  • Test management tools like ALM / JIRA knowledge required
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

IT Systems Business Analyst - Private Health Insurance (Multiple Positions)

About The Role:  
As a Technical Business Analyst (Feature Writer), you will contribute to the delivery of cloud products for the New Data Pattern project. Your role will be to work with the Business Stakeholders, Solution Architects, Solution Designers and Product Leads to collaboratively refine all design feature document backlog features and finalise them to a ready state. This includes engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop an understanding of the needs and objectives for the generic New Data Pattern solution to service multiple cloud use cases (such as Sharing Economy, EDH Migration, DAO). The role will be accountable for delivering all design features, including managing stakeholders, conducting workshops, managing blockers, and escalating issues.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Collaborate with Business, Solution Architects, Solution Designers, Product Managers, Product Leads to write, refine and finalise features.
  • Ensure collaboration across all relevant stakeholders to understand the business benefits and needs for products.
  • Resolve issues relating to features and escalate any issues, risks and/or dependencies to the Product Lead.
  • Assist the Product Lead to create and assign features to approporate delivery teams using Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  • Conduct knowledge transfer or walkthroughs with stakeholders addressing their queries and feedback as required.

About The Role:
This position sits within the Information Services and Support team, which is leading business process improvement, automation, implementation and integration of new software applications to support operations of the System. This is an opportunity for an appropriately qualified and experienced professional who enjoys problem solving and achieving outcomes.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Undertake report building and data analysis as required to support the ongoing management, monitoring, and improvement of primary care projects
  • Create and present quality reports, and create data flows to support ongoing reports (refer to Selection Criteria below for preferred platforms and services)
  • Preparation of standardised data models and data sets to support analytics (refer to Selection Criteria below for preferred platforms and services)
  • Collect and collate data on how health care services are supplied and utilised at different levels of the healthcare system
  • Consider population diversity and health inequality and apply culturally relevant and ethical approaches when identifying population health needs
  • Skills & Experience / Key Selection Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or significant work experience in creating live reports and dashboards, insights analysis, and supporting the creation of new data models
  • Experience in querying SQL databases, specifically creating stored procedures and views, deploying SSIS Packages from development to production and general familiarity with Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based analytics and ELT, preferably Azure-based solutions (e.g. using Data Factory or Synapse to move data between storage services such as Hyperscale SQL and Blob Storage)

Experience in quantitative data analysis and interpretation in Excel
Highly developed analytical, investigation and translational skills, including those required to work with the business to create performance and outcomes measurement reports.

About The Role:
The role of Test Consultant involves providing testing expertise for new capabilities, bug fixes as well as fresh implementations of Linfox’s warehouse products. The role also involves assisting in the change management process by raising new changes and change tasks using the existing tools and supporting communications relevant to change initiatives.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Define the testing activities/test plans.
  • Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.
  • Align test phases with the software development phases.
  • Ensure necessary resources are available to execute the testing activities.
  • Execute all the test cases and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.
  • Carry out regression tests when changes are made to the code.
  • Skills & Experience / Key Selection Criteria:
  • The Test Consultant will understand the importance of testing capabilities that meet the business’ requirements. Key in creating and documenting test strategies, defining success metrics, as well as providing reporting and other updates to management and project teams You can demonstrate:
Min 3yr experience in large complex environments.
Understanding of test life cycle including test plan creation, management, execution and reporting
Demonstrated ability to pick up, learn and apply moderate to complex process and concepts
Functional and Regression testing – Manual
Testing on the following channels and mediums: Web, App (iOS, Android), SMS, Email.

What we are looking for:
  • Tertiary qualifications with prior experience working as a System/Network Administrator or as a Service Desk/Technical Support Officer.
  • Strong administration experience in Microsoft core services such as Windows Server 2008 onwards, Exchange, Office 365 Administration and Azure AD.
  • Confident in using and supporting Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Proactive, able to identify the underlying cause of issues not just address symptoms.
  • Light motor vehicle driver’s license.
  • Experience with Group Policies and Powershell scripting (desirable).
  • Experience creating images for laptops and desktops for the service desk to deploy (desirable).
  • Experience working with trust relationships between domains (desirable).
